It starts at Stefan Luchian's statue and finishes at Carturesti, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass places such as Serendipity, Schitul Darvari, Casa Caragiale, the Fantana cu copii and Ordinul Arhitectilor, in walking order.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about 1 hour 45 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 2.2 km through one of the areas near the centre of Bucharest that still keeps its interwar charm.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or couples can follow the mission on one phone and work through the clues side by side as you move from stop to stop.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can we pause?
No booking of a time is needed. You can start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to wait for, and you can pause the game and continue later, for example to stop at one of the coffee places on the route.
Is it played outdoors?
Yes, it is a self-guided walk through the streets, gardens and buildings around Grădina Icoanei, and the puzzles are set in what you see in front of you. Plan for being outside for most of the time, and dress for the weather.
