Frequently asked questions
Is this a fun thing to do in Columbia today?
Yes, if you want something you can start right away. There is no booked time slot and no guide to wait for. Open the game on your phone at the starting point and you are into the mystery, following clues and cracking codes as you walk.
Where does the game start and how far do we walk?
The game begins at the starting point marked Point 1, LBC, and the app leads you from there. The full route covers about 2.4 km on foot, so wear comfortable shoes and plan for a relaxed walk broken up by puzzle stops.
How long does it take?
Plan on around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly your group cracks the codes and how long you linger along the way. You can pause the game at any point and pick it up again later if you need a break.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story and puzzles are pitched at adults and teenagers: you follow a whistleblower, decode clues and work to unmask a secret society. Teens who enjoy escape rooms tend to suit it best, while younger children may find the codes and the 2.4 km walk hard going.
Can we play as a group, and what if it rains?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, playing together on the number of devices allowed. The game is played outdoors, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
