Frequently asked questions
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Pittsburgh?
Yes. Your phone leads the way across 2.2 km and 12 locations, including Schenley Plaza, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Heinz Memorial Chapel, the Cathedral of Learning and the Millennium Panther Statue. There is no guide and no group to join, and you can start whenever you like.
Where does the Christmas quest start and finish?
It starts at the Forbes Field Outfield Wall, and the route loops back there at the end. That makes it easy to plan parking, a meal or a meeting point for the group, because you finish where you began.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover the 2.2 km walk with its puzzles and dares. You can pause at any point, warm up somewhere, and pick up later from where you stopped, so you can go at your own pace.
Is it good for kids?
It is written as a light, funny holiday story where you help restart Santa's crashed sleigh by collecting the Elements of Spirit. Children who enjoy puzzles and dares will have fun, and younger ones can play along with adults reading clues and helping with the walking distance.
Can we play it as a group or for an office Christmas outing?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so it suits families, friends and coworkers. There is no time slot to book, so you can play whenever your group is ready.
