Yes. This quest is played on your phone. The app leads you through 12 stops in the old spa resort, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. It is free to play, and you can start whenever suits you.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Thermal Park entrance and finishes at Hotel Stephanescu. Along the way you pass the Power Plant, the Ferdinand Spring, the Baths, the Casino, Hotel Palace, the Palace Fountain, the Old Gazebo and three historic villas: Iliescu, Ivanovici and Constanta-Marieta.
How long does it take?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers 2.6 km through the resort. You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if you are fitting it around treatments or a long lunch.
Is it suitable for children?
It works well for families with school-age children. The stolen sapphire necklace mystery turns the walk into a light detective game, with clues to follow at each stop while you learn how the Baths worked and what holidaymakers did here in the past.
