O tej grze
Frankfurt, 1548. The Holy Roman Empire is watching, and you have a mission. Priceless relics have vanished from the Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew—an act of heresy and rebellion in a city just brought back under Imperial control.
As tensions rise, you must walk the storied streets of Frankfurt’s old town, uncovering secrets, solving real-world puzzles, and following the trail of the Schmalkaldic League’s shadowy agents.
This is no ordinary stroll—it's a hunt through time. Team up with friends or family, connect through history, and turn this city into your mystery. The Empire counts on you. Will you answer the call?

Dla kogo jest
Friends, families with older children and team outings who prefer solving a 1548 imperial plot to following a guide get a chase after relics stolen from the cathedral. In about 1.5 hours you cover 2.4 km through the Old Town and along the Main, solving medium-level puzzles at churches, the Iron Bridge and the Römerberg. Those wanting a live guide to question, or bringing toddlers, should look elsewhere.

Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is there a treasure hunt in Frankfurt's Old Town?
Yes. This self-guided game is set in 1548, when relics vanished from the Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew. You follow the trail of the Schmalkaldic League's agents through the Old Town and along the Main, solving puzzles based on what you see at each stop.
Does the route pass the Römerberg and other Old Town sights?
Yes. Stops include the Alte Nikolaikirche, the Rententurm, the high-water mark at the bridge stairs, the Iron Bridge, St. Leonhardskirche, St. Paul's Church, the Römerberg and Tante Melber, before returning to the cathedral. The app tells the story of each place as you go.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus, so you end where you began. The walk covers 2.4 km and takes around 90 minutes, though you can go at your own pace and stop for a break whenever you like.
Is it suitable for children?
The puzzles are rated medium difficulty and the story is a historical mystery, so it suits children of roughly 10 and up who enjoy solving clues with adults. Younger children may need plenty of help, and the full route is 2.4 km on foot outdoors.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes to playing together: one ticket covers your whole group, playing on your phones. There is no time slot to book, no guide and no other group to join. Start whenever suits you, pause the game and pick it up again later.
What’s the vibe of this experience?
Think: a mix of scavenger hunt + escape game + walking tour. You follow clues through Frankfurt’s old town streets, unlock secrets, and explore historic corners in playful way.
Who’s this ideal for?
Perfect for friend groups who like challenges, couples who want something interactive, or visitors who prefer discovering the fun stuff over the obvious landmarks.
Can we do this quest after work or in the evening?
Yes! Evening adds charm. The streets get a bit quieter, lights come on, cozy cafes glow—it all adds to the ambience.
