Heritage Temple is a Chinese temple at 46 Trần Phú in Hội An, Vietnam, in the old trading port once known as Faifo. It is a good place to see how Chinese symbolism and later European influences sit side by side in the town's architecture.

The story behind it

Hội An was a busy trading port long before it became a place to visit, and its older name, Faifo, still turns up in local stories. Many of the wooden houses of that earlier port were lost in the turmoil of the late 18th century. Later layers were added.
