Często zadawane pytania
Is this an underground tour of Montreal?
Here underground means the alternative side of the city: music history, the industrial past and street art in the Southwest and Little Burgundy. It is an outdoor walk between street-level places, from Saint Irenaeus Church past Jazzmen Park and Marché Atwater to the Atwater Footbridge.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Saint Irenaeus Church and finishes at the Atwater Footbridge, so it does not end where it began. In between you visit Bibliothèque-Réjean-Ducharme, Jazzmen Park, the Corona Theatre, Notre-Dame Street West, Greenspot Restaurant, the Coexistence Mural, Marché Atwater and Pont Charlevoix.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, and the route covers 3.2 km. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break, for example at Marché Atwater near the end of the route.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route, so friends or a couple can follow the clues and solve the poems as a team. No attraction tickets are needed for any of the stops.
Do we need to book a time, and when is it best to play?
There is no time slot to book; you start whenever you like. The quest recommends not playing at night, and suggests weekdays during working hours if you want to avoid large crowds along the route.
