Kilka odpowiedzi przed wyjściem
Często zadawane pytania
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Pittsburgh?
Yes. You play it on your phone with no guide. The app leads you on a 2.5 km walk through six stops, including the Cathedral of Learning, Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Heinz Memorial Chapel, telling each place's story and setting a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
Where does the quest start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Mellon Institute and takes around 90 minutes, covering about 2.5 km on foot. Along the way you pass the Charity Randall Theatre and the Millennium Panther Statue. You can pause at any point and continue later if you need a break.
Is it suitable for any age?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The story follows a whistleblower's tip about a secret society that manipulates world leaders, and the puzzles ask you to decode clues, so younger children may find the plot and the code-breaking hard to follow.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like, and one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. You do not join other players or wait for a guide, so it works for a spontaneous afternoon or a planned weekend outing.
Is it an outdoor game?
Yes. The quest is a walk between landmarks, so most of your time is spent outside on the 2.5 km route. Dress for the weather on the day, and remember you can pause the game and pick it up again later.
