Is this a murder mystery dinner in Brighton?
No. It is an outdoor walking game played on your phone. You walk through Brighton, gather clues and interrogate suspects yourselves, at a time you choose. There are no actors and no meal included, so you are free to end the evening with dinner wherever you like.
How far is the walk, and how long does it take?
The route is 2.2 km, roughly 1.4 miles, and most groups take around 90 minutes. That includes time to read the story, study clues and solve the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later if you want a break.
Can we start the murder mystery game whenever we like?
Yes. There is no time slot to book and no group or guide to meet. You start the game on your phone whenever suits you, day or evening, and the app leads you from place to place as the investigation unfolds.
Is it suitable for children?
It works best for older kids and teens. The story centres on the death of a travel blogger and asks you to interrogate suspects such as her obsessed boyfriend and a theatrical ghost tour guide, which suits players who enjoy deduction.
