Perguntas frequentes
How do you solve the case?
You walk from stop to stop in downtown Madison, gather clues and interrogate the suspects: Walter Bridges, the obsessed boyfriend, Percy Shadows, the theatrical ghost tour guide, and anyone else hiding in the shadows. Each place sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, and the answers lead you toward the truth.
Where does the walk through downtown Madison go?
The route is about 1.6 km and starts at Madison Town Park. It takes in First United Methodist Church, Heritage Hall, the Morgan County African-American stop and the Morgan County Court House. The app guides you between places and tells the story of each one as you go.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Plan on around 90 minutes at an easy pace. There is no time slot to book: start whenever suits you, and if you want a break for coffee or a meal, you can pause the game and pick up the case later.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, playing together on your own phones up to the number of devices stated for the ticket. There is no guide and no other players joining, so couples, friends and birthday groups get the investigation to themselves.
Is it suitable for children?
The story centres on a death and a set of suspects, so it suits teens and older kids who enjoy puzzles and detective work. Younger children may find the theme or the clue-solving hard going, even though the walking distance itself is short.
