How long does the murder mystery walk take?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 1.9 km. You can pause the game and continue later, so a coffee stop or a break between clues will not cost you any progress.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for adults, teens and older children who can follow a story and reason through clues and suspect interviews. The plot centres on a woman found dead during a ghost tour, so younger children may find it unsettling or hard to follow.
Can we play as a group on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, and everyone can follow the investigation on their phones as you walk and compare theories about the suspects.
How is this different from a murder mystery dinner or an escape room?
Nobody stages it for you. You walk the streets of Manhattan yourselves, gather clues and interrogate suspects through the app, then decide whether the boyfriend, the theatrical ghost tour guide or someone else is responsible. It is played outdoors, at a time you choose.
