Is this a self-guided city exploration game in Munich?
Yes. You play on your phone, and the app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you can start whenever you like.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Marienplatz and finishes at the Wolfsbrunnen, shortly after the Hofbräuhaus. It is not a loop, so you end up in a different spot from where you began. The full route is about 2 km through the old town.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take just over two hours, about 130 minutes including walking and puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, which makes it easy to stop for a drink at one of the beer halls. It is best played during the day.
