Yes, but self-guided. Your phone leads you through the city's ghost stories and the legend of the alchemist Prince of Sansevero, telling the story of each place and setting puzzles there. There is no guide and no group to join, and you start whenever you like without booking a night tour.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Chiesa Museo di Santa Luciella ai Librai and finishes at Obelisco di San Gennaro, so it does not end where it began. Along the way you pass places such as Statua del Dio Nilo, Cappella Sansevero, Gesù Nuovo, Piazza Dante and Napoli Sotterranea.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about 1 hour 45 minutes, including walking and solving puzzles, over roughly 2.4 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
