Perguntas frequentes
Is this a murder mystery game I can play in Oxnard?
It is a detective mystery rather than a murder case. A whistleblower sets you on the trail of The Kingmakers, a secret society said to steer world leaders from the shadows. As in a murder mystery, you gather clues and crack puzzles, but you do it outdoors on your phone while walking a 2.3 km route.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game begins at its first point, labelled LBC in the app, which then guides you from place to place. Plan on around 90 minutes to cover the 2.3 km route, though your pace and how quickly you solve the puzzles will make it a little shorter or longer.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for teens playing alongside adults. The story is a conspiracy thriller built around decoding secrets and staying ahead of a secret society, and the puzzles are aimed at older players. Younger children may find the plot and the 2.3 km walk harder to stay with.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no time slot to reserve: start whenever suits you, and if you need a break you can pause the game and pick it up again later from where you stopped.
What happens if it rains?
The game is played outdoors on foot, so you will be outside for most of the roughly 90 minutes. Since you can start any time and pause partway through, it is easy to wait for a dry spell or split the route into two shorter sessions.
