Perguntas frequentes
Is there a murder mystery game to play in Petoskey?
Yes. This is a self-guided detective walk through downtown Petoskey played on your phone. You investigate the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust during a ghost tour, gathering clues and questioning suspects such as her boyfriend Walter Bridges and the theatrical guide Percy Shadows.
Where does the walk start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the Ernest Hemingway Statue, so you end where you began. The loop is about 2 km and takes around 90 minutes, passing Pennsylvania Park, the Chief Ignatius Petoskey Statue, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the Downtown Greenway and the Petoskey District Library.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like, with no guide and no other group. One ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated, and you can pause the game and carry on later.
Is it suitable for children?
The game is aimed at adults who want to play detective, and it also works for families with older kids and teens. The story centres on a suspicious death and suspect interrogations, so younger children may find it less engaging or not suitable.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, you play on foot outside, moving between downtown spots like Pennsylvania Park and the Downtown Greenway, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and continue from where you stopped another time.
