A experiência

Sobre esta experiência

Salzburg belongs to Mozart. His name is on every street, every café, every chocolate box in this city. But somewhere hidden in its medieval alleyways is a secret even the city has forgotten: a lost opera he never finished.

In this self-guided walking tour of Salzburg, you play Anne, an aspiring pianist racing against time to find Mozart's lost opera before her Juilliard audition. Your search will take you through Getreidegasse, the Alter Markt, Mozartplatz, and the heights of Hohensalzburg, guided by the ghosts of Mozart, Constanze, and the composer's rivals.

One of the most immersive things to do in Salzburg, this Mozart walking tour combines real history, hidden locations, and a mystery that only you can solve.

É para si?

Para quem é

Perguntas frequentes

Was Mozart born in Salzburg, and does this walk visit his birthplace?
Yes. Salzburg is the city where Mozart was born, and Mozart's Birthplace is one of the stops on this route. You reach it after Café Tomaselli, and the app tells its story and sets a puzzle based on what you see in front of you.
Where did Mozart live in Salzburg, and can I see it on the tour?
The walk takes in both Mozart places most visitors look for: Mozart's Birthplace and the Mozart Residence. The quest starts and finishes at the Mozart Residence, and also passes Mozartplatz and the Mozartsteg bridge, so you see the main Mozart sites in one walk.
Where does the walk start, and how long does it take?
It starts at the Mozart Residence and loops back there at the end. The route is about 1.9 km and takes around 90 minutes, with stops including the Kapuzinerkloster, the Kapuzinerberg viewpoint, Michaelstor, Salzburg Cathedral and Mozart's Birthplace. You can pause and continue later if you want a break.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended for families and works best with older children who can follow the story of Anne, a pianist searching for a lost opera, and solve puzzles at each stop. Keep in mind the route climbs up to the Kapuzinerberg viewpoint, so little legs may find that part tiring.
Do we need to book a time, and can a group play together?
There is no fixed start time and no guide to meet, so you begin whenever you like, ideally during the day. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and everyone plays together on their phones.
