Perguntas frequentes
Is there a murder mystery game we can play ourselves in Santa Monica?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery you play on your phone while walking about 2.2 km. Travel blogger Bella Wanderlust has been found dead during a ghost tour, and you gather clues and interrogate suspects to work out who did it.
Is this a Santa Monica ghost tour?
Not exactly. The story is set around a ghost tour led by the dramatic Percy Shadows, who is one of your suspects. There is no live guide, though. The app leads you from place to place and you do the investigating yourselves.
Is it like an outdoor escape room?
It shares the puzzle solving and the group teamwork, but it takes place outdoors on the streets rather than in a locked room. You start whenever you like, play on your own phones, and one ticket covers your whole group.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2.2 km. There is no set start time to book, and you can pause the game, take a break for food or drinks, and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older kids and teens who enjoy detective puzzles. The plot is a murder investigation involving a dead blogger and a jealous boyfriend, so younger children may find the theme too dark or the clues hard to follow.
