A experiência
Sobre esta experiência
In 14th-century Siena, two noble families are locked in a silent war. The Salimbeni control the money. The Tolomei control the alliances.
And your family, the Terazzini, has been watching them both from the shadows, waiting for the right moment.
This outdoor quest takes you through Siena's most iconic locations: Piazza del Duomo, the ancient hospital of Santa Maria della Scala, the curved Gothic facade of Palazzo Chigi-Saracini, the shell-shaped Campo, and the oldest continuously operating bank in the world.
At every stop, the story deepens. And somewhere in the middle of it, you will discover that the most dangerous player in this game is the one you trusted most.
É para si?
Para quem é
Families with school-age children, couples and small groups on a day trip can solve puzzles through the 14th-century rivalry of the Salimbeni and Tolomei, from Piazza del Duomo past the Campo to Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, about 1.2 km in around 90 minutes. The game stays outside, so anyone wanting a live guide to explain the art inside the cathedral should choose a guided tour.

Perguntas frequentes
What is the family feud story behind this Siena game?
It is set in 14th-century Siena, where two noble families wage a silent war. The Salimbeni control the money and the Tolomei control the alliances. You play as the Terazzini, a third family watching both from the shadows, and the route passes places such as Palazzo Tolomei along the way.
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Siena?
Yes. The app leads you from place to place on your phone, tells the story of each spot and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, and you can start whenever you like. The walk is about 1.2 km and takes around 90 minutes.
Where does it start and finish?
It starts at Piazza del Duomo and finishes at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, so it does not return to the start. In between you pass Santa Maria della Scala, Piazza di Postierla, Palazzo Chigi-Saracini, Piazza del Campo, the Fonte, Loggia del Papa and Palazzo Tolomei.
Is it good for kids?
It is tagged kid friendly and suits families with school-age children who enjoy a playful puzzle game and a story of rival families. The walk is fairly short at about 1.2 km, though the full game takes around 90 minutes, so very young children may tire before the end.
Can we play as a group, and can we pause?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. You can pause the game at any point, for a coffee or a look around the Campo, and continue later from where you stopped.
What’s this all about?
You’re from the Terazzini family, sneaky and clever, stuck between two powerful families who want control of Siena. You’ll walk through old alleys, collect clues, and uncover secrets Salimbeni and Tolomei hid in plain sight. It’s strategy, drama, and a bit of betrayal—with beautiful scenery.
How long will it take, and how far will we walk?
About 42-72 minutes depending on how much you linger, and ~1.2 km (~1580 steps). Perfect for an afternoon outing without overdoing it.
Who will have the most fun with this quest?
Groups of friends who like competition and wit, families with older kids who enjoy puzzles, or couples wanting more than just sitting down for dinner—a mix of history + game + discovery.
