Yes. The walk begins at Sintra Train Station, so it works well if you arrive by train from Lisbon. It does not return there: the route finishes at Quinta da Regaleira, after passing the old town, the Moorish Castle, Vila Sassetti and the National Palace.
How long does the Sintra highlights walk take?
Most players take a little over three hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 5.6 km through the town and its natural landscape, so plan for a good part of the day and go in daylight, when it is best enjoyed.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended as a family activity, with riddles and challenges based on Sintra's legends and landmarks. Keep in mind the 5.6 km distance and the three-plus hours on foot when deciding whether younger children will manage the full route.
Can we play as a group?
