Întrebări frecvente
Where does the Carmel detective game start?
The game begins at Point 1, listed in the app as LBC. From there your phone leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. You do not need to meet a guide or join a group.
How long does the secret society mystery take, and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2.1 km on foot. Because you can pause and pick up again later, you can take longer if you stop for a coffee or a meal along the way.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is best for teens and adults. The story centres on a secret society manipulating world leaders, and the puzzles involve decoding clues and spotting details. Younger children may find the conspiracy plot hard to follow and the 2.1 km walk long.
Can our group play together, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, so friends or family can solve the case together. There is no time slot to book: you start whenever you like, and you can pause the game and continue later.
Is the game played outdoors?
Yes, this is a self-guided walk through real streets in Carmel, played on your phone. Dress for the weather, and if rain sets in you can pause the game and continue later from where you left off.
