Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the old boat landing stage (Alte Schiffsanlegestelle) and finishes at the Schleuse, the lock on the Aare. It is not a loop. On the way you pass Schützenmatte, Höheweg, the meadow of the Augustinian monastery, Höhescheune and Sagiplatz, among other stops.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take just under two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 2.5 km through the town. You can pause at any point and continue later, so it is easy to fit around other plans in Interlaken.
Is it a good outdoor escape game for kids?
Yes, it is tagged as a kids' favourite and suits school-age children best. The puzzles are solved in the real world using what is around you, and audio stories set the scene in 1808. Younger children will enjoy it most with an adult helping on the trickier puzzles.
