It starts at the Kinuko Laskey Statue in Kitsilano and loops back to the same spot. On the way it passes neighbourhood places such as the Welcome to Kitsilano sign, Cafe Zen on Yew, Oddfish Restaurant and the Purple Bench, so you end where you began.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2.6 km, though solving time varies by group. You can pause whenever you like, stop for a coffee at one of the cafes on the route, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The story follows a whistleblower exposing a centuries-old secret society, and the puzzles involve decoding secrets and following a conspiracy, which suits teenagers better than young children.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet: open the game on your phone at the starting statue and begin whenever suits you.
Is the game outdoors, and what if it rains?
