Frequently asked questions

What will I see in Sibiu on this walk?
The route runs through the old town: the Walk of Fame, Sibiu State Philharmonic, Schiller Square, the Great Square, the Council Tower, the Small Square, Tanners' Passage, School Passage, Goldsmiths' Square, the Bridge of Lies, Albert Huet Square and Stairs Passage, ending at the Gong Theater for Children and Youth.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Walk of Fame and finishes at the Gong Theater for Children and Youth. It is not a loop, so you end up in a different spot from where you began, after passing through squares, passages and the Bridge of Lies.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including walking, the story at each stop and the puzzles. The route covers about 1.8 km through the old town. Bring a fully charged phone or a power bank, since the game runs on your phone the whole way.
Can we play as a group, and is there a cost?
The quest is free to play, so friends, couples or a small group can follow the mystery together. You solve the clues from what is in front of you and perform small gestures along the way, which is more fun with company.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you like. You can also pause the quest, stop for a coffee in one of the squares, and continue later from where you left off.
