Frequently asked questions
Where does the quest start, and where does it finish?
It starts at Innes Park in Wilmington and loops back to Innes Park at the end, so you finish where you began. Along the way the route passes the Betts-Harr Building, the Wilmington Riverwalk, the Museum of the Bizarre, Latimer House and the Vollers-Hardin-Walker House.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on about 90 minutes for a walk of roughly 2.1 km through 12 locations. There is no fixed pace, and you can pause the game at any point and continue later if you want a coffee break or need to split it over two outings.
Is it good for kids?
The story is a comic holiday rescue: Santa's sleigh has crash-landed and your group collects the Elements of Spirit to restart it, with puzzles and dares at each stop. No minimum age is set, so younger children will likely enjoy the characters and dares while adults help with the puzzles and the walking.
Can we play as a group or for an office Christmas outing, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, and you play on your phones with no guide and no fixed time slot. Start whenever suits you, which makes it easy to fit around a team lunch, a family visit or an evening downtown.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is a walking game played outside as you move between the stops, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and pick it up again later from where you left off.
