Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at The Silent Mark of Sportcity and finishes at The Warning Shape, so you end at a different spot from where you began. In between there are eight more stops, including The Hidden Club Count, The Orange Gurdian and The Road Rider Symbol.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take a little over an hour, around 70 minutes, with the walking and puzzles included. The route covers about 1.2 km, which makes it a short outing for a weekend afternoon or a birthday game.
Is it good for kids, and what age?
Yes. The difficulty is rated easy and it is tagged as a kids' and family favourite, best suited to primary-school children of roughly 6 to 11. The clues ask them to spot colours, symbols and words on real street signs, which works well for children who can already read.
Can we play as a family or group?
Yes. The quest is free to play, so a family or group of friends can follow the time-travel story together on a phone. There is no group to join and no guide, you simply start when you are ready.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. You can start whenever suits you, and if the children need a break you can pause the quest and continue later from where you stopped.
