Über dieses Abenteuer
This game's goal is to lead you around Monastiraki and Plaka, two of Athens' most famous and picturesque areas.
The riddles are straightforward and don't follow any kind of plot; they are meant to amuse you and encourage you to engage with the attractions. You will learn little-known facts and come across monuments that are typically ignored as you pass by some of the city's landmarks.
There's no need to rush. Take in the views, relax, and let the city captivate you.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is this a self-guided quiz tour near the Ancient Agora in Athens?
It is a self-guided riddle walk played on your phone, with no guide and no group to join. The route covers Monastiraki and Plaka rather than the Ancient Agora itself. Its Roman-era stops include the Tower of Winds and the Roman Stoa, where the walk ends.
Where does the quest start and finish?
You start at the Little Metropolis, with its hidden ancient calendar, and finish at the Roman Stoa. It is not a loop. In between you pass stops such as Benizelos Mansion, the Old Madrasa Gate, Vrysaki, the Tower of Winds and the Koukidis Monument, covering about 2 km.
How long does it take, and when is the best time to go?
Most players take just under 2 hours, including walking and solving the riddles, and there is no need to rush. Mornings are best to avoid the heat and catch the lively market and local shrines. Charge your phone fully or bring a power bank.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is tagged family friendly. The riddles are straightforward and do not follow a plot, so they suit children who enjoy spotting details in buildings and monuments. Bear in mind the route is about 2 km and takes close to 2 hours, so younger children may need breaks.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no set start time to book: begin whenever suits you, and you can pause the game and continue later if you stop for a coffee or a rest along the way.
