You play a detective contacted by a whistleblower and set out to expose The Kingmakers, a secret society said to have steered world leaders and global events for centuries. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets puzzles you solve using what is in front of you.
Where does the game start?
The route begins at Point 1, listed in the app as LBC. Once you start, the app guides you on foot from there to each following location, so you only need to get yourself to the starting point.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2.2 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a coffee break or a stop to regroup will not cost you your progress in the case.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story and code-breaking are pitched at adults and teenagers, and families with teens are a natural fit. Younger children may lose interest in a conspiracy plot and decoding puzzles over a 2.2 km walk, so it works best when everyone can follow the clues.
