You've been recruited by the Bureau of Otherworldly Observation, and Agent Howl is handing you your first case: a district full of the dead, and a file nobody has ever managed to close.
Thirteen stops. Thirteen things this city would rather you didn't look at too closely. Some of them are waiting for you.
The dead here were real people, and they remember what the plaques leave out. Ask the right questions and they'll tell you. Ask the wrong ones and you'll find out why the file is still open.

Is there a self-guided ghost tour in Charleston?
Yes. This one is played on your phone with no guide and no group to join. The app leads you through the old district, past St. Philip's Church, the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, the Powder Magazine and Poogan's Porch, telling each place's story and setting a puzzle there.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Charleston City Hall and ends back there, so you finish where you began. In between you cover about 2.4 km across thirteen stops, including several old churches and churchyards, the Old Slave Mart Museum and the remains of the Walled City of Charles Town.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Plan on around 90 minutes. There is no set start time, so you can begin whenever suits you, including in the evening when most people go looking for ghost stories. You can also pause partway through and pick up later.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. Everyone walks the route together and works on the same puzzles, which makes it a good choice for couples or a few friends out for the night.
