It works like an outdoor escape game played on your phone rather than a room you book. The horror story follows Jack, a young boy facing a monster that threatens a fishing village, and you solve puzzles in the streets and seafront in front of you. Start any time, with no slot to reserve.
Which spooky places in Constanta does the route visit?
In walking order, the stops include Muzeul Marinei, Canarache, Statuia Ovidiu, Epitaf Mozaic, Casa cu Lei, Portul Constanta, Carmen Sylva, Farul Genovez, Palace, Marea moschee, Marcus Aurelius 12 and the beach, before finishing at Farul verde dig. Each stop carries part of the sea monster story and a puzzle.
Where exactly does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Muzeul Marinei and finishes at Farul verde dig, the green lighthouse on the pier. It is not a loop, so plan to end by the water at the far end of the route rather than back where you began.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two and a half hours, walking and puzzles included, over a route of 4.2 km through the old town and along the seafront. You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if you want a break for food or coffee.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can follow the story and solve the puzzles side by side on the walk. There is no organised group to join and no guide, so you set your own pace.
