Über dieses Abenteuer
Dublin, Ireland. A peaceful morning. Just you, your garden, and a hot cup of coffee... until an alien spaceship crashes into your rose bushes. Out steps Borty, a bug-eyed, fly-like creature in a spacesuit, begging you to guide him to the Teeling Whiskey factory. Why? He won't say. But time is ticking.
Join this hilarious self-guided walking tour of Dublin's Old Town as you escort an alien through St Patrick's Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, and the winding streets of The Liberties. Borty needs Dublin trivia for an intergalactic pub quiz. The stakes, apparently, are life and death.
One of the most unique things to do in Dublin, this Dublin city walking tour wraps real history, hidden landmarks, and genuine local charm around the most unexpected guide you'll ever meet.
Passt das zu euch?
Für wen es ist
Friends, families with teenagers and visitors who like a bit of comedy will enjoy escorting Borty, a bug-eyed alien, on a 4.1 km walk from Teeling Whiskey Distillery past St Patrick's Cathedral and the Guinness Storehouse to Kilmainham Gaol, solving medium-level puzzles on the way. Allow around two hours. Anyone who wants a live guide to quiz on Dublin history, or who would struggle with four kilometres on foot, should pick something else.

Ein paar Antworten vor dem Start
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is this quest good for teenagers?
Yes, it works well for families with teenagers. The story is a light comedy about guiding a fly-like alien across Dublin, and the puzzles are rated medium difficulty, so teens can take the lead on solving them. Younger children may find the puzzles and the two-hour walk harder going.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Teeling Whiskey Distillery and finishes at Kilmainham Gaol, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass St Patrick's Cathedral, the Old Dublin City Wall, St Catherine's Church, the Guinness Storehouse, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Richmond Tower.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take around two hours, including walking and puzzles. The route covers about 4.1 km through the Old Town and out towards Kilmainham. You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if you want to stop for food or a visit along the way.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can follow the story and solve the puzzles side by side. There is no group to join and no guide, and you can start whenever you like without booking a time slot.
Is it an outdoor activity, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is played outdoors on the streets of Dublin, walking from stop to stop with your phone. If the weather turns, you can pause the game and continue later from where you left off, so it is worth bringing a rain jacket and picking your moment.
