Ein paar Antworten vor dem Start
Häufig gestellte Fragen
What does the route cover in Murcia's old town?
The walk takes in 15 stops in the historic centre. It starts at Plaza Camachos, crosses the Puente Viejo and passes the Ayuntamiento, Palacio Episcopal, the Cathedral facade and Plaza de las Cadenas. It continues to the Real Casino, Palacio Almodóvar, the Convento de las Claras and the Museo Arqueológico.
Is this an unusual thing to do in Murcia?
It swaps a guided tour for a self-paced scavenger hunt. Your phone leads you between landmarks and sets a challenge at each one, solved by looking closely at what is in front of you. Note that it focuses on puzzles and does not include stories about the places.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at Plaza Camachos and finishes at the Estatua Alfonso X, so you end somewhere different from where you began. The route is 1.7 km and most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included. You can pause and carry on later.
Is it good for kids, and can we play as a group?
It is tagged family friendly and suits older children who enjoy solving puzzles on the move. It also works well for couples. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so there is no need for each person to buy their own.
Do we need to book a time?
No. You can start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. The route is open 24/7, but it is better played during daylight hours, and since it is all outdoors you should dress for the weather.
