This wasn't some random choice; it was a calculated move. He left the location with one man, who encoded the map across landmarks using symbols carved into the city's oldest stones. Those marks are still there, hiding in plain sight while you grab your morning coffee or walk to work.
You receive the first clue from a source who refuses to identify themselves. The greatest personal treasury ever assembled is waiting for someone with the right eyes to find it. Are you ready to claim what Augustus left behind?

How long does the Venice treasure hunt take?
Most players take close to two hours, walking and puzzles included. The route covers about 2.7 km and is a loop, so you finish back where you began. You can go faster or slower, since nobody sets the pace but you.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends, couples or a family can share a phone, follow the clues and work out the puzzles side by side as you walk through the city.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. You start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. Open the app when you are ready in Venice and you receive the first clue, then the story of Augustus and his hidden regalia unfolds from there.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits families with teens and older children best. The game involves around two hours on foot over 2.7 km and puzzles based on symbols and landmarks in front of you, which older kids tend to enjoy solving. Very young children may find the length and the code-breaking too much.
Can we pause the game and what if it rains?
You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if you want a coffee break or the weather turns. The whole quest is played outdoors on the streets of Venice, so bring a jacket or umbrella on a wet day.
