Ein paar Antworten vor dem Start
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Zadar?
Yes. You play it on your phone: the app leads you through 12 stops in the old town, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you can start whenever you like.
Is there a walk in Zadar about Slavic heritage?
This quest invites you to see Zadar as a living timeline of endurance and renewal in the spirit of the ancient Slavic people. Along the way you pass defensive gates, civic squares, the market and churches rising above Roman ruins, including St. Donat and the Roman forum.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Land Gate and finishes at the Sea Organ on the waterfront, next to the Greeting to the Sun. It is not a loop, so you end up by the sea rather than back at the start. The route covers about 1.7 km.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included. You can pause and continue later. The route is open around the clock but is better in daylight. Bring a hat, sunscreen and water, and make sure your phone is charged or carry a power bank.
Is it good for kids and can we play as a group?
It is tagged family friendly, with puzzles rated easy to medium, so school-age children who enjoy looking for clues should do well. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, which makes it easy for families or friends to share one phone.
