Sobre esta experiencia
Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️
¿Es para ti?
Para quién es
From the Jefferson County Courthouse, this 2.2 km trail winds past Linn Park, the Eternal Flame of Freedom and the Lyric Theatre in around 90 minutes. Friends who prefer cracking ciphers to listening will enjoy it, as will families with older kids who like a spooky riddle. Its ten spirits are fictional, so if you want real local ghost lore from a live guide, choose a guided walk instead.

Preguntas frecuentes
Is this a ghost tour of Birmingham, AL?
It is a self-guided ghost walk played on your phone. You cover about 2.2 km past stops such as Linn Park, the Cathedral Church of the Advent, the Lyric Theatre and McWane Science Center. The ten spirits are original characters, so expect new mysteries rather than retold local legends.
Where does the walk start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Jefferson County Courthouse and takes around 90 minutes, covering roughly 2.2 km on foot. You can pause whenever you like and pick up the trail later, so a coffee break or an early dinner along the way is no problem.
Is this a good thing to do for Halloween in Birmingham?
Yes, this is a Halloween edition. Ten spirits are loose in the streets, each stuck on unfinished business, and you solve their mysteries to collect clues before naming the Evil One. There is no fixed start time, so you can fit it around parties or trick-or-treating.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older children and teens who enjoy spooky stories and puzzles. The theme is horror and haunts, with ciphers and riddles to crack and a lying spirit to expose. Younger children may find the theme or the puzzles too much, and the walk lasts about 90 minutes.
Do we need to book a time or join a group?
No. You start whenever you are ready, with no guide and no other groups to join. One ticket covers your whole group, and you play together on your phones, following the app from stop to stop at your own pace.
