Preguntas frecuentes
Can we play this whodunit as a team-building game?
Yes, it works well for colleagues or friends who want to crack a case together. You walk the route as a team, gather clues and interrogate suspects on your own phones, and one ticket covers your whole group. There is no set start time, so you can begin whenever suits everyone.
How is this different from a murder mystery dinner in Cork?
There are no actors and no table. You solve the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust yourselves, outdoors on a walk through Cork, deciding whether Walter, Percy or someone else is guilty. You start when you like and play on your phones rather than following a staged evening.
How long does the 2 km walk take?
Plan on around 90 minutes for the 2 km route, including time to read the story and work out the clues at each stop. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break along the way.
Where does the game start?
It starts at the National Monument in Cork. From there the case takes you to places such as Mangan's Clock, Saints Peter and Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Princess St and Cork Courthouse, with 11 stops in total.
Is it suitable for children?
The story centres on a death during a ghost tour and asks you to interrogate suspects, so it suits older kids and teens playing alongside adults better than young children. Expect a walk of about 2 km and around 90 minutes of reasoning through clues.
I’m in Cork and love detective stories—what’s a must-do?
Step into the role of investigator with Murder Mystery: Death in the Shadows of Cork. Follow cryptic clues through historic lanes and lively squares while untangling a dark but fun whodunit set in the heart of the city.
Could this work as a unique date night?
Definitely. Wander Cork’s atmospheric streets at dusk, share theories as you crack each riddle, and finish with a cozy drink in the city centre. Solving the case together adds a playful spark that makes for a memorable night out.
Is it suitable for a group of friends looking for something different?
Yes! Whether you split into rival teams or tackle the mystery together, this self-guided game turns Cork’s Old Town into an escape-room-meets-treasure-hunt adventure—great for birthdays, weekend meetups, or a spontaneous night of laughs.
