Where does the romantic Waikiki walk start and finish?
It starts at the Storyteller Statue and finishes at the Statue of Makua and Kila, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass Helumoa, the Halekulani, the Royal Hawaiian and Moana Surfrider hotels, the Stones of Life and the statue of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take around 1.5 to 2 hours, including walking and the puzzles at each stop. The route covers about 2.4 km along the Waikiki beachfront, and you can pause at any point and continue later.
Can we play together on one phone as a couple or group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so a couple or a few friends can follow the route, hear the stories and solve the puzzles side by side without each needing their own.
Do we need to book a time or buy attraction tickets?
No booking is needed. You start whenever you like, there is no group to join and no guide to meet. No attraction tickets are required for the stops, since the puzzles are set in what you can see from the route.
