Maribor, 1681. The plague is lifting, and the physician who signed eight months of the dead has vanished — his satchel left on the cathedral steps.
A torn page from the death register. A coded note. A seal nobody will admit to owning. Some of the dead were never his patients, and their houses changed hands before the graves closed.
Take the satchel. Follow the wall down to the river, and finish at the tower where the city passed judgement.
Not a tour with questions attached. A case.

Friends and couples who like escape rooms and detective games get a real case to crack: a vanished plague doctor, a forged signature, a coded note and a black seal, traced over twelve stops along the old wall toward the river. Puzzles are medium difficulty and the walk takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Families with young children may find this tale of plague deaths and stolen houses too dark.
