What will I see in Setúbal on this walk?
The route covers the main old-town sights in walking order: the São Sebastião viewpoint and arch, the Baluarte de Nossa Senhora da Conceição, the cathedral, City Hall, Praça de Bocage, Mercado do Livramento, Mosteiro de Jesus, the pillory and Casa da Baía, finishing at Doca dos Pescadores.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Miradouro São Sebastião de Setúbal and finishes at Doca dos Pescadores, the fishermen's dock. It is not a loop, so you end up by the harbour rather than back at the viewpoint where you began.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles along the way. The route is about 3.4 km. You can pause the game and continue later if you want to stop for seafood or a break.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is recommended as a family activity and works well for school-age children. The puzzles are set in what is in front of you at each stop, so kids can look for clues in the buildings, the market and the harbour as you walk.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no set time to book and no group to join: start whenever you like, ideally during the day, and the app guides you from place to place.
