Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Botanic Gardens MRT Station and finishes at the Hwa Chong Institution Clock Tower Building, so it is a one-way route. Along the way you pass Cluny Court, Serene Centre, Adam Road Food Centre, Adam Park, Shelford Road Park, the Bukit Timah Overhead Bridge and Poh Ming Tse Temple.
Are there fixed tour times I need to book?
No. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever suits you. The app leads you from stop to stop on your phone and tells the story of each place. It is best played during the day.
How long does it take?
Most players take just over two hours to cover the 3.8 km route, walking and puzzles included. You can pause at any point, for example for a meal at Adam Road Food Centre, and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes, it is recommended for families. School-age children who can manage a 3.8 km walk will get the most from it, since the puzzles ask you to look closely at what is in front of you. Very young children may tire over two hours on foot.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can follow the route, hear the stories of each stop and work through the puzzles side by side.
