Preguntas frecuentes
Is there a self-guided tour of the Queen Victoria Building?
Yes. This quest is a self-guided walk played on your phone. Inside the QVB it takes you to the stained glass panels, the Main Dome, the Australia Clock, the Queen Elizabeth II Letter, the Royal Clock and the Mystery Doors. The app tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle there.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Cenotaph and passes the Soul Pattinson Building and Hilton Sydney before heading into the Queen Victoria Building. After the Queen Victoria Statue it finishes at To Sail, To Stop, so it ends in a different spot from where it begins. The route covers about 1 km.
How long does it take?
Most players take about 75 minutes, including the walking and the puzzles, over a distance of around 1 km. There is no rush: you can pause the game at any point and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for children?
It is a Horror & Haunts quest built around the ghost of a man murdered inside the Queen Victoria Building. That makes it a better fit for older children and teens who enjoy a spooky story than for very young children.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no time slot to book and no group to join: start whenever you like at the Cenotaph and play at your own pace without a guide.
