What are the top things to see in Umag?
The route covers twelve stops in the old town, including the Theatre of Antonio Coslovich, the Church of St. Roch, the town hall, Freedom Square, the town museum, the Corte delle ore square, the town tower and the green market. Along the way you hear stories spanning 2,000 years, from Roman times to fishing families.
Is there an app for a self-guided walk around Umag?
Yes. This quest is played on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so charge your phone or bring a power bank.
Where does the walk start and finish, and how long does it take?
It starts at the two busts near the theatre and runs as a loop of about 1.5 km through the old town, with the final stop at the Pučko otvoreno učilište Ante Babić. Most players take about 50 minutes, walking and puzzles included.
Is it suitable for children and groups?
