On this tour, you will take in some of Valletta's top landmarks, such as the St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster's Palace, the Manoel Theatre, Fort St. Elmo, and many others, all while learning their darkest secrets as told by the locals and maybe even meeting a ghost or two.

Is this a ghost tour of Valletta?
Yes, it is a self-guided ghost walk played on your phone. The app leads you through Valletta's streets and tells the dark stories and local legends behind places such as St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster's Palace, Teatru Manoel and Fort St Elmo, with a puzzle at each stop. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at City Gate and finishes at Fort St Elmo, so it does not return to the start. The route covers about 2 km and passes Palazzo Parisio, St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Courts of Justice, the Grandmaster's Palace, Teatru Manoel, Strait Street and the Church of All Souls on the way.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 1 hour 45 minutes, so plan on 1.5 to 2 hours including walking and solving the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, which makes it easy to stop for a drink or dinner along the way.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no fixed start time, so you can begin whenever suits you, evening included, unlike scheduled guided ghost walks. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route, so couples and friends can share the stories and puzzles as they walk.
