Questions fréquemment posées

What is the secret society game in Chișinău about?
You play an investigator out to expose The Kingmakers, a secret society said to have steered world leaders from the shadows for centuries. Following a whistleblower's leads, you walk between real places in central Chișinău, hear the story of each one and solve puzzles hidden in what is in front of you.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts and ends at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Moldova, so it is a loop of about 2.5 km. Along the way you pass Stephen the Great Monument and Central Park, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Triumphal Arch and the Nicolae Sulac National Palace.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour and 45 minutes, walking and puzzles included. You set your own pace, and you can pause at any point, for a coffee or a break, and continue later from where you stopped.
Do we need to book a time or pay to play as a group?
No booking is needed and it is free to play. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group to join and no guide to meet, so friends or family can simply set off together from the museum.
Is it suitable for kids?
The conspiracy story and code-breaking puzzles are aimed at adults and teens, and families with teenagers tend to enjoy it. Younger children may find close to two hours of walking 2.5 km and solving clues too long.
