Questions fréquemment posées
Where does the quest start and finish?
It begins at the Starting Point shown in the app and finishes at the Marktplatz, so it does not return to where you began. On the way you pass the Münzmeisterhaus, Morizkirche, the Reithalle, the Mausoleum, the monuments to Ernest II and Ernest I, and Ehrenburg.
How long does the walk take?
Most players take about an hour and a half, walking and puzzles included, over roughly 2.5 km. You can pause at any point, for a coffee or a longer look at a stop, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it too scary for children?
No. It is tagged family friendly and easy, and the ghostly side is a gentle story about Luise and her sons rather than a fright. Children of school age who can manage a 2.5 km walk and simple puzzles should enjoy it alongside the adults.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no fixed start time, no group to join and no guide to meet, so you can begin whenever suits you and go at your own pace.
Can we do it in the evening or in bad weather?
The route is open around the clock, but it works better in daylight, when the monuments, Ehrenburg and the other stops are easier to see and the puzzles easier to solve. It is an outdoor walk, so dress for the weather.
