Yes. This quest is played on your phone: the app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever suits you.

In order, you pass John K. King Used & Rare Books, the US District Court, The Leland, Comerica Park, the Detroit Athletic Club, Lafayette and American Coney Island, the Guardian Building, the Spirit of Detroit, Hart Plaza and the GM Renaissance Center.

It starts at John K. King Used & Rare Books and finishes at the GM Renaissance Center, so it does not return to the start. The route is about 4.5 km, and most players take a little over two hours, walking and puzzles included.
Can we play as a group, and is it free?
Yes to both. The quest is free to play, so friends or family can walk it together and solve the puzzles as a team. There is no time slot to book, and you can pause along the way and continue later.
Can we play it in the evening?
The quest recommends not playing at night, so plan to walk it in daylight. Since you can start any time and pause when you like, it is easy to fit into a morning or afternoon in downtown Detroit.
