Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at City Hall and finishes at Gare de Tours, the railway station, so it does not return to where you began. Along the way you pass Rue de Jérusalem, Place du Monstre, Hotel Goüin, the Castle of Tours, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Congress.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take about two and a half hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers 4.9 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so it is easy to stop for a coffee or a museum visit.
Does the route pass Place Anatole France?
Yes. Place Anatole France is the ninth stop, reached after Rue du Commerce and Rue Nationale and just before the Castle of Tours. The app leads you there on foot, so you do not need a separate map to find it.
Is it suitable for children?
It is recommended for families, with a story and a puzzle at each stop to keep everyone involved. Children need to manage about two and a half hours and nearly 5 km of walking, so it suits kids who are comfortable on longer outings. It is best played during the day.
