Questions fréquemment posées
Where does the FBI quest in Washington D.C. start and finish?
It starts at the J. Edgar Hoover F.B.I. Building and finishes at the George Mason Historical Marker, right after the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. It is not a loop, so plan your way back from the finish near the Tidal Basin.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take just under two hours, walking and puzzles included, over about 3.5 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a museum stop or a snack break along the way is easy to fit in.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is tagged as a kids' favorite. Children play FBI agents chasing bank robbers and art thieves, solving a real-world puzzle at each stop on the phone. It suits school-age kids who can walk 3.5 km and enjoy spotting clues around them.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no set time and no group to join: start whenever you like, play at your own pace and pause if you need to.
Is the route outdoors, and what should we bring?
The game is played outside, walking between stops such as the National Park Service headquarters, the waterfront and the Jefferson Memorial. Wear a hat and sunscreen and carry enough water, especially on hot days.
