Families with older children and teens, gamers and friend groups walk 2.5 km through Carol Park inside a three-round capture-the-flag story between red and blue teams, solving puzzles at Arenele Romane and the Unknown Soldier's tomb. If you want a guided history of the park's monuments, or your children are too young to follow a gaming storyline for around 100 minutes, choose another walk.

Where does the Carol Park quest start and finish?
It starts at Fantana - Intrare, the fountain by the park entrance, and finishes at Loc de joaca, the playground. It is not a loop. Along the way you pass stops including Dimitrie Leonida, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arenele Romane and the George Grigorie Cantacuzino fountain.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take around 100 minutes, so allow close to two hours including walking and puzzles. The route covers about 2.5 km through Carol Park, moving through twelve stops in order from the entrance fountain to the playground.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older children and teens best. The story follows two gaming teams, red and blue, through a three-round capture-the-flag battle about teamwork and courage, and the puzzles are set in the monuments and spots in front of you. Very young children may lose interest over the full walk.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can follow the story and solve the puzzles side by side on the walk through Carol Park.
Do we need to book a time, and can we take a break?
No booking is needed. It is self-guided on your phone, so you can start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. You can pause at any point and continue the quest later.
