You've been recruited by the Bureau of Otherworldly Observation, and Agent Howl is handing you your first case: a district full of the dead, and a file nobody has ever managed to close.
Thirteen stops. Thirteen things this city would rather you didn't look at too closely. Some of them are waiting for you.
The dead here were real people, and they remember what the plaques leave out. Ask the right questions and they'll tell you. Ask the wrong ones and you'll find out why the file is still open.
Keep your phone torch handy. You'll want it. 🕯️

Is this a city game I can play in Bucharest?
Yes. It is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you through 13 stops in central Bucharest, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, framed as a ghost case from the Bureau of Otherworldly Observation.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at Cismigiu Garden and finishes at University Square, so it is not a loop. In between you pass Kretzulescu Church, Casa Capșa, CEC, Stavropoleos, Saint Demetrius Church, Hanu' lui Manuc and Colțea Hospital, about 3.2 km in total.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 95 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles, so allow 1.5 to 2 hours. You can pause at any point and continue later if you want a break for dinner or a drink along the way.
Does the route include Stavropoleos Monastery?
Yes. The church of the Stavropoleos Monastery is the eighth of the 13 stops, reached after CEC and before Saint Demetrius Church. The app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what you see there.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no set start time, no group to join and no guide, so you can begin whenever suits you, day or evening, and pause and pick up again later.
