Domande frequenti
Where does the Christmas scavenger hunt in Cleveland start and finish?
It starts at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and is a loop, so you end where you began. In between you pass the Start statue by David E. Davis, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Wade Oval, the University Circle Historical Marker, the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Music Center and the Mary Chisholm Painter Arch.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking, puzzles and dares. The route covers 2.9 km on foot through the University Circle area, with 12 locations where you collect the Elements of Spirit to restart Santa's crashed sleigh.
Can we play as a group, for example for an office Christmas outing?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the app, which makes it an easy option for coworkers, friends or visiting family. You play as Ground Control, sharing the puzzles and dares while Santa, Sparky and Rudolph guide and tease you along the way.
Is it a good Christmas activity for kids?
It is built around humor, puzzles and silly dares with Santa and Rudolph, which suits families looking for a festive outing. Children should be able to walk 2.9 km and stay engaged for about two hours, with adults helping on the trickier puzzles.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group to join and no guide to meet. You can pause the game, for a warm drink for instance, and continue the route later.
